Dr. Konchalovsky was born in Moscow, 5-th generation of doctor descendant.
- In 1984 he graduated from the 1st Moscow Medical University named after Sechenov (nowadays Moscow Medical Academy).
- In 1985 he received a specialization in surgery at the Sklifasovsky Ambulance Science Research Institute. Since 1985, P. Kontchalovsky practiced as a general surgeon in the municipal Clinical hospital No. 20, where he has acquired good surgical knowledge and experience under the supervision of Professors Tsatsanidi K., Eramishantsev A., Shertsinguer A. and other famous Moscow surgeons.
- In 1990 he continued his studies in France, at the University Hospital Tenon (Hôpital Tenon) in Paris, where he obtained a diploma in laparoscopic surgery.
- Dr. Konchalovsky worked for 15 years in municipal and private hospital in France as a specialist in general and laparoscopic surgery and gained an extensive experience in European medicine. Besides, he obtained a diploma of a French doctor.
- Since 2003 Dr. Konchalovsky is a member of l’Ordre des médecins de France.
- In September 2005 he returned to Moscow at the invitation of European medical center where he founded a surgical department and worked as its chief for 8 years.
Member of international congresses on surgery and emergency care. He has publications in Russian and foreign editions.
Specialization: planned and emergency general and abdominal surgery. The doctor gives priority to laparoscopic operations, which are nowadays the standard for performing most surgical interventions in the USA and European countries.
Dr. Konchalovsky is one of the few surgeons in Moscow who performs emergency laparoscopic surgeries, such as: cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder), appendectomy (removal of appendix), lavage and drainage of the abdominal cavity in early diffuse peritonitis, treatment of intestinal blockage and other surgical operations for rarer diseases of abdominal cavity.
He dedicated several years to the study and treatment of “diabetic foot” which is currently a serious complication in patients with pancreatic diabetes.
